The Darling Downs Respiratory & Sleep Clinic offers a comprehensive range of services to manage and maintain respiratory functions.


These services include:

A bronchoscopy helps to investigate lung issues, chronic cough, suspected lung cancer or changes on scans.


Usually a day surgery, Dr Gleeson will always meet with you to discuss the need for this procedure and to gather further information. This is a No Gap procedure.



Lung Function Tests helps diagnose and assess the severity of conditions .


Performed through QRS (Queensland Respiratory Services),  Lung Function Tests help diagnose and assess the severity of conditions such as asthma, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), Emphysema, and Pulmonary Fibrosis. 


These tests are often performed to assess respiratory symptoms such as shortness of breath or coughs. Medicare rebates are available, with the tests able to be completed at either St Andrews or St Vincents Hospitals in Toowoomba.


Prior to meeting with Dr Gleeson, you may be prompted to fill in the below Asthma Control Questionaire. 


Dr Gleeson provides inpatient care consultations for patients at St Andrew's Hospital Toowoomba.

As part of the outpatient services provided, Dr Gleeson is able to assess and apply for:


• Home oxygen applications for patients, 

• Workplace safety assessments and

• Medical certificates for motor vehicle licensing, and through CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) for pilots as needed.
