The Darling Downs Respiratory & Sleep Clinic is based at St Andrews Hospital, Toowoomba.
Dr Sarah Gleeson and her team place significant focus on creating a friendly and welcoming environment, in comfortable and well-appointed rooms, for all patients who require specialised Respiratory and Sleep services.
Providing both outpatient consultations and inpatient reviews, Dr Gleeson manages all areas of respiratory diseases and facilitates access to state-of-the-art diagnostic sleep studies through her own sleep laboratory, Sleep Care Toowoomba.
Our clinic is wheelchair friendly and all patients attending the Darling Downs Respiratory & Sleep Clinic have access to the free onsite parking at St Andrew's Hospital.
Consultation Fees.
Darling Downs Respiratory and Sleep Clinic consultation fees are discussed at your initial appointment however a large percentage of the fee is claimed as a rebate via Medicare when patients have a valid referral. Our office submits claims electronically and if patient banking details are registered with Medicare, rebates are generally made within a 48hour timeframe. Pensioner card holders are offered a reduced rate. Payment in full is required on the day of consultation.
Dr Gleeson participates in a no gap scheme with health funds regarding inpatient consultations. Dr Gleeson does not charge above the Medicare/Health Fund fee. We kindly ask patient’s to confirm their hospital cover and/or excess fees prior to admission.
